Scott Ziter
VP of Risk Management for Northeast Shared Services
Scott Ziter is the Vice President of Risk Management for Northeast Shared Services. (Servicing Price Chopper/Market 32 & Tops Markets) He is responsible for the team that oversees Asset Protection, Safety, Food Safety, Internal Audit & Compliance, and Insurance Services. He began his career in the loss prevention/asset protection field in 1991 as a store detective for Stop & Shop in Massachusetts. During his 23-year career at The Stop & Shop Supermarket Company and its parent company, Ahold USA, Scott held numerous positions with increasing responsibility to include Loss Prevention Field Manager, Division Loss Prevention Manager, Director of Asset Protection and Senior Director of Asset Protection. He was promoted to Vice President of Asset Protection for Ahold USA in 2012. Scott joined The Golub Corporation in 2014 as Director of Asset Protection. Scott is the Chairman of the Board of Advisors at the Loss Prevention Research Council (LPRC) and the Chairman Emeritus for the FMI Asset Protection Council. He earned his B.S. in Criminal Justice and B.A. in Psychology from Westfield State University in 1994. Scott resides in Ballston Lake, New York with his wife, Stephanie and children, Sophie and Sam.
